Cardiff Blues cruised into the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter finals when they beat Harlequins 20-45 at The Twickenham Stoop, Twickenham in the Heineken Cup.

Cardiff Blues were forced into two late changes ahead of their Heineken Cup match against Harlequins on Sunday.

Gareth Thomas came into the starting XV on the wing, in place of Leigh Halfpenny, who was suffering with a slight thigh strain.

On the bench Dai Flanagan cames in, in place of Sam Norton Knight.
